What's new
Everything that has shipped in VRCVerify, newest first.

Less to read, on the dashboard and the website
Each setting now explains itself in one line, and a setting with more to say opens when you press its description. Settings that need Premium all carry the same Premium label and a link to the plans. The Overview, Subscriptions and Pricing pages, and the website's home page, are shorter and quicker to scan.
-
Set up your server on the dashboard
Setting up a server now happens here, from the first step. Choose your roles under Settings, Verification, then post the instructions panel under Settings, Instructions panel. In Discord, /vrcverify_setup and /vrcverify_instructions now link here instead of making changes, and /vrcverify_status shows your plan and which features are set up.
-
A Linked role, for servers that aren't only 18+
You can now give a Linked role to every member who links their VRChat account, whether or not VRChat shows them as 18+. Your 18+ role still goes only to members VRChat has age verified, and they get both. Set it under Settings, Verification. With Premium, your VRChat group invites can also go to any linked member, not only 18+ ones.
-
Verify the members you already have
Give the verified role to every member of your server who has already verified with VRCVerify, here or in any other server, all at once. Nobody has to do anything, and nobody is messaged. Find it on your server's Overview: counting who can be verified is free, and giving them the role is part of Premium.
-
Your VRChat group's join requests, in Discord
Join requests to your VRChat group are now posted in a Discord channel you choose, with Approve and Deny buttons for the roles you pick. Each post shows whether the person asking is already a member of your server, and whether they're verified 18+, so your moderators can decide without leaving Discord. Turn it on under Settings, VRChat group, once group invites are set up.
-
Your VRChat group's calendar, in Discord
Your VRChat group's calendar events now appear in your server's Events tab, where members can mark themselves interested, get Discord's reminders and see times in their own time zone. Events stay in step as they change in VRChat. If VRCVerify is in your group, members-only events sync too, and when an event's instance opens, its join link is posted in a channel you choose. Turn it on under Settings, VRChat group.

Older instruction panels have been replaced
Instruction panels posted before August 11 could not be edited, so they kept their original text and buttons no matter what changed. They have now been replaced with panels that can be updated, in your server's current language. A replaced panel appears at the bottom of its channel, and any link to the old panel no longer works.
-
The website speaks your language
vrcverify.com is now available in all twelve languages the dashboard is, including Arabic read right to left. That includes the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy, each of which says that the English version governs if a translation disagrees with it. Every page has its own address per language, and the globe in the header switches between them.
-
The status page speaks your language
status.vrcverify.com is now available in all twelve languages the dashboard is, including Arabic read right to left. It picks one from your browser, and the globe in its header switches between them. Each language has its own address, so you can send somebody the status page in the language they read.
-
VRCVerify has a new look
The dashboard, the website and the status page have been rebuilt on one design. Your server list is now a grid of tiles you can search, pin and open from anywhere on the card, and each one says whether that server is on Premium. Setup has moved to the top of a server's Overview with a progress bar, and retires itself once everything required is done. Settings puts each control directly under its own label, the pricing page is one comparison you can read across, and the status page now shows what has gone wrong beside what is working rather than below it.
-
A website link on your instructions panel
The Donate button on the instructions panel is now a Learn more button that opens vrcverify.com, so a member who is asked to verify can read what VRCVerify does before they start. The donation reminder that appeared after setup is gone as well. Panels posted since August 11 update the next time they are refreshed. Older ones cannot be edited by Discord at all, so they are replaced rather than refreshed.
-
See which servers need attention
Your server list now says how each server is doing rather than the same sentence on every card. A server that was never finished, and one that was set up and has quietly stopped working, are both visible without opening them.
-
A permission check that was missing
VRCVerify needs Discord's Manage Roles permission to grant a verified role. It was never checking whether it had one, so a server that had lost the permission looked healthy on the Overview while every verification quietly failed to grant anything. The Overview and the role picker now say so, and tell you where to fix it.
-
Check whether VRCVerify is working
There is now a status page at status.vrcverify.com. It shows whether verification, the Discord bot, group invites, the dashboard and the website are working, with 90 days of history, and it says so even when everything else is down. Look for the status link in the header.
-
See how verification is going
The Overview page now charts the last 30 days of verifications, and checks the things that quietly break a server — a verified role that was deleted, a role the bot cannot assign, an instructions panel that is no longer where it was posted.
-
The dashboard has been rebuilt
A new header and sidebar, servers you can pick from cards instead of a list, switches that show you what is on at a glance, and a warning before you leave a page with unsaved changes.
-
Dark, light, or whatever your device says
The dashboard is dark by default now, with a theme button in the header. Your choice is remembered on this browser.
-
Invite verified members to your VRChat group
Link a private VRChat group to your server, and members who finish verification are offered an invite to it. Nothing is sent to VRChat unless the member asks for it.
Want these in your own server? Join the VRCVerify Discord and follow the announcements channel — every update here gets posted there, and Discord crossposts it to any channel you pick.
