How a member gets verified

VRChat verifies their age
The member completes VRChat's own age check, with VRChat. Their documents never leave that process.

VRCVerify reads the result
The member links their account and VRCVerify asks one question: has VRChat verified this person as 18+?

The bot assigns the role
Your server's verified role goes on. Nobody has to review anything, and no administrator sees anything.
The only thing that crosses from VRChat into VRCVerify is a yes or a no.
Verification is free, and stays free
Everything you need to verify your members is free, on every server, with no cap and nothing to start. Premium adds the automation around it, from verifying the members you already have in one go to clearing up unverified roles, syncing nicknames, sending VRChat group invites, bringing your group's calendar into Discord and posting its join requests for your moderators.
What it does not do
- It does not see, store or transmit identity documents. VRChat performs the age verification; VRCVerify reads the result.
- It does not store your VRChat display name or your profile bio.
- It does not handle card details. Payments go to Stripe or to Discord, and neither passes card data to us.
- It gives server administrators no way to mark someone verified by hand. There is no override, deliberately.
